YES (MAYBE)
c 1979 Tristan Winter
) can you hear me?
yes, and you?
sweet yes! (
yes and i dream of the rocks in the wind, rocks in the shadow of one word: love. yes and our souls will be gone on the morrow, fugitive souls with nowhere to go, nowhere to sleep, no one to speak of unspeakable love. listen you say I listen too hard, how can this be when I lay here in love, with my ear to the ground, how can I sit in a roomful of angels? ah what’s the use? the words are too evil for words to describe. i’m weary of life with it’s hopes and its dreams. how many cadavers can one man kiss? how many years can a man live alone/ forever, forever, and no end in sight; infinite denial be my flesh. raw as it is, it’s better than nothing.
